Have you guys heard of the online shop Everly? It’s a darling place filled with antique and vintage treasures, run by the beauteous Hannah Hayes. I have been following Hannah online for quite a few years now, and while she doesn’t blog as much as she used to, I’m always excited to see an update from her because her photography is stunning and she always, always finds the most adorable antique treasures. To me, it felt like a natural progression for her to start up her own shop so she could combine her love of photographing vintage knick knacks with her ability to find the cutest curiosities and be able to share them with us folks who are not as lucky or as keen when searching for those special vintage goodies.

Into It, Intimates / Sugar Lace Lingerie
I instantly fell for Sugar Lace Lingerie because of the adorably feminine designs and perfectly sweet colour combinations. While I’m not usually one for colourful intimates, I absolutely make an exception when the pieces are in the most beautiful pastel shades. I mean, how could you say no to any one of these?! Designer Adrianna Tenorio is based out of Chicago, IL. where she went to school for fashion illustration and design. In her last two years of school she realized her love for lingerie design and that’s when Sugar Lace Lingerie came to fruition (and thank goodness for that!). Sharing this brand comes at just the right time, since Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I liken each of these pieces to sweet and sugary goodness.

Into It, Intimates / Toru & Naoko
Etsy is such a wonderful place to come across new-to-me handmade labels. In my search for new lingerie designers I could share with you I came across Toru & Naoko, an intimates brand designed and owned by Camila, an Argentinean now living in Chile. She has such a wonderful ability to take classic, vintage-inspired looks and add interesting design details that it almost pains me that they are undergarments, and not outer-garments. But this is how I always feel about lingerie. My favourite articles of clothing to own/wear are always the ones that feel inappropriate to wear in public – lingerie, dressing gowns etc. I guess it works out nicely that I’m mostly an introverted homebody and thus have many an opportunity to give my much loved intimates their time to shine.

Vintage Charm
I follow a few design blogs looking for inspiration, but mostly making myself crazy seeing those with beautiful old homes that have been so well preserved. While a lot of the interior styling I see is lovely, a lot is not to my taste, but I do come across a few that I fall absolutely in love with and that I feel reflect my aesthetic (even if I don’t have the resources to make it happen just yet). This home in Vancouver BC being one of them. I must admit, I’ve become a fan of all white walls and clean, minimal spaces (not too minimal), but I think it’s important to have pops of colour and things around the home that make it feel like it’s actually a home and not a model one. This home feels like it has all those things…minimal, clean, colourful and lived-in with it’s quirky decor and vintage charm. (source)

Valentino Pre-Fall 2015
To say I am in love with Valentino’s 2015 Pre-Fall collection would be an understatement. This collection feels like everything and more. From the prints, to styling, to silhouettes, to it’s distinct 70s & Victorian inspiration, it’s just so absolutely spot on in my mind I’m having a hard time expressing my feelings (over-dramatic much?! i’m a cancer, i’m allowed to be). I could go on and on about why I love it so much, but there is no need. At the end of the day, the collection speaks for itself and I needn’t say more.
