Control Freak

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 presetI took these images a couple weekends ago when I was putting off packing (I’ve been a procrastinator since always). The lighting was nice and since I started (almost a year ago) relying on myself to take my own pictures for this blog, I’ve really enjoyed learning new things about my camera and playing around with it. I almost always prefer to take my own images. Sure, it’s convenient to have someone else take your pictures, but I’m generally much happier with the results when I have done all the work myself (and that’s the control freak in me). I think that speaks volumes about my personality. I prefer to not have to rely on other people to get things done. If I could know how to do everything myself, that would be ideal. But it is impossible to be able to know and do everything. And often times it’s great to have help from others – it’s good to relinquish control from time to time, for your sanity.  I’m still learning to do this in all aspects of my life, as I’m sure many people are. Anyways, just a few thoughts for today.
