And we’re back! What has it been…like 1 month? I’m uncertain, it’s been awhile that’s for sure. But I promise regular shop updates coming your way from now on (hmm, maybe Christmas will cause some problems). I recently received two large boxes of vintage purses/handbags/clutches from a family friend, so this week is of course chalk full of them. This hasn’t even really made a dent in the amount I have sitting around my home right now, but we must start somewhere. Pop by the shop today, maybe one will catch your eye and make a nice friend for your holiday/new year’s eve outfits?!

Just a wee shop update today featuring…COATS. Some lovely, lovely coats. Honestly, this striped rain coat is amazing. In every way. If it fit me properly (a size smaller), I would never ever part ways with it. I’d love to see it go to a good home and get some wear. It deserves to be out in the streets of this world. Pop by the shop today and pick up a winter coat (and maybe some other things).

Bonjour! Un Shop Update

It feels like every time I take listing photos for the shop, a thunderstorm rolls in. What is this curse? So once again, the lighting in these photos leaves much to be desired. But what can a girl do? These are the woes of a girl who cannot afford a shop studio just yet, and thus, lovely natural light can be few and far between when the sun does not hit my apartment windows quite right (or at all). Anyways!! This week I have two very lovely skirts! The polka dot baby was actually from my very own wardrobe, but I decided to let her go. She deserves a lot more wear than I was giving her. Oh, and then these adorable 1960’s powder pink ruffle bloomers! Eep! So darling. They need a good vintage negligee loving home. As does the robe. I love this robe, I do. But my hoarding of robes needs to come to an end (it won’t though).

I hope everyone has a very lovely Thursday! Come virtually visit the shop today. Maybe something will catch your eye!

Leah Goren

If there is one thing I wish I was gifted with, it would be the ability to draw. I cannot draw. I hate saying that. But I can’t. And at times it feels like it doesn’t make sense. My father is good at drawing, my mother can sketch patterns and designs, and my younger brother shares their abilities. So what happened to my older brother and I? Although, maybe even my older brother can draw, I’m not certain. I did not receive that gene from them (curse you!). Whenever I see Leah Goren‘s designs it gets my “omg why can’t I draw!?” feelings going (Olivia Mew does this to me as well). Her illustrations and surface pattern designs are so endearing, you couldn’t help but love the girl wearing them (and love the girl creating them). The Girl Faces Dress is my absolute favourite. I need it. In my closet. Now. I have an affinity to kookie printed dresses. I’ll pretty much love any dress with strange people walking around on it, animals wearing outfits, miniature banjos and record players floating randomly, just anything that kind of doesn’t make sense, but you just want to stare at it till your eyes fall out. Anyways, Leah Goren, always making me envious and so happy at the same time.
