On Saturday, I and some other Toronto bloggers were invited to Diva Girl’s 6 year Anniversary party. The event was held on the rooftop of The Spoke Club, a club I didn’t even know existed until a few days before (I am not a private club type girl), and at request, everyone was decked out in all white attire. Fortunately for me (since I don’t actually own that many all white dresses), I was given this dress from Wanderlust and necklace/clutch (featured in some photos) from Stella and Dot to wear for the duration of the event. At the end of the event, me and some other bloggers were featured in a fashion show to present some pieces by brands and designers who will be collaborating with Diva Girl in the future.
The event was pretty fun, although, if I’m being honest, not really my style. But it was nice to be invited and to meet some other bloggers I had never met before. Spending the day in the sun over looking the city I love so much was pretty awesome as well, although I did get a nasty sunburn on my shoulders, which wasn’t so nice. What a surprise, huh?! The ginger forgot sunscreen and she got burned.

Love that dress! Definitely hear you on the sunburn–I get freckles after 10 minutes and a burn after 15 😦
Thank you! Yep, the same happens to me. It’s really silly of me that I forget to wear or bring sunscreen with me in the summer. I always get burnt if I’m in the sun for longer than 10 minutes. I feel your pain, doll xx
You look so beautiful in that dress! Gorgeous photos.

Thank you so much, that is so sweet ❤ xx
Such gorgeous photos and I adore that dress!! I hear ya about sunburn. I was out in the sun for like 15 minutes and my shoulders got nice and toasty. lol…

yes! the problem of pale people. My whole existence during the summer is avoiding the sun unless I’ve put on a load of sunscreen. bah! Thank you for your sweet words ❤
Cute outfit! Those sunnies are sublime. Ugh, sorry about your sunburn. I’ve sun-screened and sun-hatted myself since March (that’s still no guarantee against a burn though). #palepeopleproblems
hahaha! Don’t I know it! You are much better than me. I always forget a hat, and then I get a lovely burn in my hair parting. very adorable 🙂
