2. Beach feet.
3. Blue skies and yellow umbrellas.
4. We spent a lot of time at the beach this past weekend, which is ironic since I’m a ginger who burns within 5 minutes of direct sunlight on the ol’ pale skin.
5. Beans, Ebony…she has a lot of names, and none of them really describe what a wonderful dog she is.
6. Playing his acoustic guitar again. It’s funny, I only seem to photograph him when he plays his acoustic, but he really loves his black and tan Les Paul the most, and plays it way more often.
7. They have burned all the trees in the “Tree Preservation Area”.
8. Tullah, oh wee Tullah. I swear to you, small fluffy dogs love me, they just know, at heart, I am one of them.
9. Just some pretties chillin at the beach.
10. Moody beach bum.
11.The tiniest pine cone. There was another picture we took with these wee pine cones, but it was out of focus, which is such a shame, it would have been a great pic.
12. He is always highly entertaining to take pictures of. I sometimes think he is more comfortable in front of the camera than I am.

2. There has been a lot of park hangouts recently – the sunshine and warm weather is such a welcome change
3. Tulips everywhere I go!
4. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
5. Silly tree climber part 2
6. Mount Pleasant Cemetery
7. First bonfire of the year at Garbage Beach with some of my favorite people

DSC_2831DSC_2960DSC_2966DSC_2970DSC_2972DSC_2967DSC_2969DSC_2980DSC_29771. I really cherish the moments when I take my outfit photos myself. When I started the blog it was usually me and someone taking my picture, and while that was much easier and generally a faster process, I’ve come to really enjoy the quiet time and moving at my own pace to create photos I like. Sometimes Matt and I would butt heads when I had an idea and it wasn’t coming out the way I wanted – I’m sort of a control freak in that sense.
2. Kiana getting her makeup done by Leesa for an editorial I styled and also modelled in this past weekend. Leesa made everyone look so beautiful, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this woman and her talents.
3. Tara with sprinkles on her tongue in another outfit I styled – so excited to see the final images of this one.
4. Quinn is such a beauty. I had seen her face before and did not even realize at the time. Remember Danielle who I worked with on a shoot a few weekends ago? Well the following day she was taking shots of this beauty for another mag and I saw a couple behind the scenes on her instagram. Strange how life works sometimes.
5. I think kids have the right idea –  even the smallest, simplest of things bring them joy.
6. Our fearless photographer, Gerald (and his girlfriend Annya). We met through instagram, and he had expressed interest in working with me. I’m so glad he did. Working with him and modelling for him was a true pleasure. He has such a vision and does not let any detail go unnoticed. I have such a respect for him and what he does.
7. When I first saw Kiana my jaw just dropped (not literally, that would have been awkward) She is such a stunning girl. We got to shoot a few fun shots together which I think I’m most excited about.
8. Ryan with our favourite pizza from Libretto that we took to the park to eat and just relax after a long day.
9. A little ducky friend.

DSC_2817DSC_2888DSC_2819DSC_2816DSC_2828DSC_2820DSC_27231. Life is a bit strange. I met Sergio years ago, probably when I was 18. He was a friend of my then boyfriend, but I’m not sure that he even remembers me back then. Those were some crazy times so I don’t expect much memory of fleeting run-ins. He’s been dating my best friend Kristen for several years now, and although I don’t see him often (they both live in mtl), he is a person I hold dear to my heart. Despite his rough exterior and potty mouth he is such a generous and kind-hearted person.
2. Ryan has this thing about drinks. He loves them. Whenever we grocery shop his drink selection always outweighs any actual food in his basket, and I have to remind him we need food. I never even consider buying drinks at the grocery store – I’m sort of a water only type girl when at home (well coffee and tea as well) But he got me thinking about tasty liquid treats, so this rose lemonade seemed perfect to me.
3. Kristen and Taylor. Oh Kristen! I’m not sure what to even say about this girl. I love her ALOT! She lives too far from me, and I miss her all the time. If ever there was a soul mate for me, she would be it. And Taylor, I featured this gal on this space before. Remember? (although now she is Taylor Giorgi) I have known her for a long while, and it’s been so beautiful to see herself and her life grow in such a positive and exciting way.
4. Just a cool old light fixture and some neat wallpaper at Ronnie’s.
5. Choo-choo!
6. I remember seeing Renata for the first time and thinking she was one of the most beautiful women around. To top it off she’s got a wicked personality – a deadly combo.
7. Since always the sound of an acoustic guitar has done things to my brain. It’s my most favourite instrument to dance and choreograph to (next to a banjo), so it’s quite soothing to my brain when I can go about my business at home and have this handsome fellow strumming away.

DSC_2611DSC_2609DSC_2564DSC_2561DSC_2560DSC_2592DSC_2602DSC_2614I didnt take my camera out much last week, so all these photos were shot at Wards Island (the residential part of Toronto Island) last Sunday while I was styling a photoshoot (which I will be telling you more about tomorrow). I had never really explored this part of the island, so it was really cool to see the homes and people who live here. The neat thing about living on the island is that it feels so far removed from the city. If I could not see the cityscape from across the water I would have thought I was in a small cottage town. The houses are colorful, charming and no two the same. It’s really just a picturesque place to live. I think the people who live here have the right idea – removed from the fast city pace, but a close ferry ride to all the excitement (and grocery stores).
